A name or location entered in a search box passes to the third-party provider that operates the search. This site does not keep or log those terms on its own systems.
Messages
An email or contact message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal page requests may provide an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages visited, time spent, referring page, and request timestamps. Cookies can help measure site use. Browser settings may block cookies, although some functions can then behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Technical and submitted data may be used to operate and secure the site, route a chosen search to the correct partner, understand which Lincoln County record pages are useful, diagnose faults, improve speed, answer messages, and display advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Get in Touch page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and any need to keep necessary records, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held by the site, request correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. These choices concern site-held data, not a Lincoln County, court, jail, or NC DAC public record.
